Welcome to IcAUMS 2023
The 6th International Conference of Asian Union of Magnetics Societies (IcAUMS2023) will be held in Bali, Indonesia from August 14th to 16th, 2023. On behalf of the Asian Union of Magnetics Societies (AUMS) and Organizing Committee of IcAUMS2023, I would like to express my warmest welcome to your participation in this grand gathering, which is organized by AUMS together with the Indonesian Magnetics Society (IMS).
The Asian Union of Magnetics Societies (AUMS) was initiated among the Magnetics Society of Japan (MSJ), the Korean Magnetics Society (KMS), the Taiwan Association for Magnetic Technology (TAMT), and the Chinese Society of Magnetic Materials and Applications (CSMMA) in Beijing on October 17, 2008. The AUMS aims to promote the advancement of knowledge in magnetism, magnetic materials and applications in the Asia Pacific region. Since the establishment of AUMS on January 1, 2009, the Russian Magnetics Society (RMS) and the Vietnam Magnetics Society (VMS) joined the AUMS in 2017, and the Indonesian Society of Magnetism (IMS) joined the AUMS in 2020 as a provisional member. In addition, the AUMS is also a sister society of IEEE magnetics society.
The International Conference of Asian Union of Magnetics Societies (IcAUMS) was initiated in the 1st AUMS Council Meeting held in Sendai on March 25, 2009, and to be held every two years. The inaugural IcAUMS was held in Korea in 2010, the consecutive IcAUMSs were held in Japan in 2012, China in 2014, Taiwan in 2016 and Korea in 2018. However, the IcAUMS conference has been postponed several times due to the pandemic. After the containment of the pandemic, I am very honored and pleased to invite you to participate in the IcAUMS2023 this year. The IcAUMS is one of the most influential conferences in the Asia- Pacific region. We believe that researchers, experts, business professionals and end user in industries will take this opportunity to share and exchange their new ideas and recent exciting results.
IcAUMS2023 is planned to provide arrangement of oral and poster presentations, invited talks and symposia, tutorial session, and exhibitions showcasing the latest progress in magnetism, magnetic materials and their applications.
I would like to express special appreciation to the members of the Organizing Committee, Program Committee, Publication Committee and International Advisory Committee for their great contributions to make the IcAUMS2023 successful.
